Xiliansuo site is located in Wenquan Town, 2 kilometers north of Wenxian County, and 500 meters northwest of xiliansuo village. The site is 300 meters long from east to west and 250 meters wide from north to south, with a total area of about 75000 square meters. The cultural level is about 1-2 meters. In the early 1960s, many investigations and color collections were carried out, and then many excavations were carried out. It is proved that the site can be divided into Yangshao culture, Longshan culture, Erlitou culture and early Shang culture. A large number of red tire polished pottery pieces are painted with black and brown color; the shape of the pottery is pot, bowl, etc.; the patterns are reticular, geometric, eyelash, etc., and some are painted with white clothes, which are relics of Yangshao culture period. The polished black pottery pieces unearthed are mostly decorated with checkered patterns and rope patterns, and the shapes of the pottery include tripod, bowl, etc., which are relics of Longshan culture period. The black and gray pottery pieces unearthed are mostly decorated with rope patterns, and the shape of the pottery is big mouth Zun, which is a relic of Erlitou culture.
