Development in China

In urban development, most cities in China have a high degree of land use mix. Except for a small number of large-scale concentrated development communities, the three-level community park system described in the textbook is difficult to be implemented in the actual urban construction. Even if a few community parks are built, because of the closed management of many communities, the small parks in the community are less public and can not be fully utilized. Moreover, in the existing urban texture, especially in the old city, there is a serious lack of community park green space.

On the other hand, with the development of economy, the quality of urban environment has been paid more and more attention. A large number of Point Park green spaces such as small squares, small parks and roadside green spaces are emerging in the process of urban renewal

. The original intention of these point park green space construction is to enhance the urban landscape and improve the ecological environment, and increase the urban greening rate

. According to the "urban green space classification standard", the greening rate of roadside green space should be more than 65%, and there is no requirement for other designs. How to meet the daily use needs of citizens is rarely involved in the relevant planning and design specifications and research results.

Due to the serious lack of community parks, many citizens can only choose to carry out high-intensity community activities in the nearby point park green space. In order to make better use of the point park green space, this study will explore how to endow these new point green space with some functions of community parks through case study, so that citizens can not only go out to see "green" Moreover, it can get a pleasant place for daily communication.
