Wanshui Park

Wanshui park is a small park in Qujing City. In spring and summer, the park is full of flowers. The West River flows through the park, bringing fresh and cool environmental beauty, which is listed as the second of the eight scenic spots in Xuanwei. There are many high-rise buildings on both sides of the West River in the park, and there are cars and people coming and going on the river arch bridge, which has a unique feeling of purity.

In the old western suburb of Xuanwei City, there were many mountains and dense forests. Among the peaks, spring water gathered to form a clear West River, which flows from west to east around the city like a jade belt, bringing fresh and cool environmental beauty to Xuanwei City and Xuanwei dam with little yellow water and gray sand water. It is called "Wanshui Huanqing", which is listed as the second of the eight sceneries of Xuanwei. Today's Xihe River, after several times of harnessing, is wider and clearer. It has become a clear stream in the center of the city. There are many tall buildings on both sides of the river. There are many arched bridges on the river. Cars and people come and go. The water reflects the pavilions, adding the beauty of "Huanqing".

Scenic spots

Wanshui park is mainly built by man-made lakes, of which the excavated area is about 19 mu. The park is surrounded by weeping willows and red walls. The green tree lined dyke banks divide the blue sky lake into several pieces. On the dyke banks, there are small bridges across the water, which connect the lakes like the garden gate in the deep palace. During the boating, the water is clear, the heart is wide, and there are other caves. Among the water areas, there are rockeries, pavilions, cranes and dragon bodies, each with its own theme and attraction; on the embankment, there are "zuiyue tower" facing the pool water and with green shade in the north, the "huaigu Pavilion" perched on the rockery and across the empty valley, and the "Lefang Pavilion", "Siyuan Pavilion" and "Guanyuan Pavilion" connected by long corridors "Fish Pavilion" and other pavilions and pavilions make the buildings with green corners everywhere, and the green shade is deep, showing the garden rhythm of "walking gently to find the valley, the willow bank flowers are bright and elegant, the courtyard is more" and "a few bends of the river lead the fish to jump, and the waves send the new scenery".
