Yalong Bay Shell Museum

Yalong Bay Shell Museum is located on the ground floor of the central square of Yalong Bay National Tourist Resort. It is the first comprehensive exhibition hall with shell as the theme, integrating science popularization, exhibition and sales. In the exhibition hall, more than 300 kinds of representative shells from all over the world are displayed in five major sea areas, including the angel winged seagull clam, the colorful Australian sea fan clam, the famous living fossil red Weng snail and Nautilus, etc. There is a shopping mall in the Shell Museum. The products are mainly shell based handicrafts and souvenirs.

Shell Museum is located in the central square of Yalong Bay National Tourist Resort, covering an area of 3000 square meters. It is the first professional museum with shell as the theme, integrating science popularization, exhibition and sales.

In the five exhibition halls, there are more than 300 kinds of representative shells carefully selected from all over the world, such as the pure angel wing seagull clam, the colorful Australian sea fan clam, the famous living fossil red Weng snail and Nautilus, etc., which can be seen in the shell hall.

Yalong Bay Shell Museum is designed with novel and unique design, elegant and natural decoration, and equipped with modern advanced projection equipment, which can continuously show tourists the unique natural landscape of various kinds of fish, shellfish, coral and so on. The exhibition hall of the museum is divided into five exhibition areas, displaying more than 300 kinds of false representative shells from all over the world, including the angel wing seagull clam, the colorful Australian sea clam, the famous living fossil red Weng snail and Nautilus, etc. The shell Exhibition Hall shows visitors all kinds of rare and colorful shells and corals in the world's oceans, showing the beauty of "natural carving". Walking into the shell exhibition hall, it's like walking into the dreamlike underwater world. The shell exhibition hall with winding paths is designed in blue. Except for the window used to display shell exhibits, the four wall walls are all caricatured with all kinds of seaweed, aquatic plants and marine life. The ground and wall corners are piled up with pebbles and sand, and then decorated with coral, shells, starfish, turtles and other specimens, creating a magical undersea landscape. Transportation guide

1. Taihe bus (new national line) route: West Station - municipal Party committee - Dadonghai - Tiandu - Yalong Bay. Every 30 minutes. 2. Double deck sightseeing bus of new national line (the upper floor is open shed and the lower floor is air-conditioned): route: Yalong Bay Dadonghai Sanya Bay Xidao wharf Tianyahaijiao. It runs every half an hour. The early bus leaves from Yalong Bay at 7:00, and the last bus returns from Tianya Haijiao at about 19:00. It takes about 70 minutes to travel at sightseeing speed. The whole fare is 10 yuan (charged by road section).

Yalong Bay Central Plaza ticket (including Shell Museum): 56 yuan / person.

Yalong Bay Butterfly Valley admission: 26 yuan per person.

Yalong Bay package price: 69 yuan / person (including central square, shell hall, Butterfly Valley). If you live in the Cactus Resort Hotel opposite Butterfly Valley, you can change the package ticket by 10 yuan with the key (subject to the hotel consultation).

Other project costs

1. By boat, 100 yuan (plus 30 yuan training fee). For swimming, it costs 10 yuan / hour to rent a swimming circle. If you rent a box to keep clothes or to wash water, you need to charge an additional 10 yuan (the box is one, and the wash water is the price of one person);

2. Beach volleyball, 20 yuan per hour;

3. Pedal boat, one 80 yuan, floating on the sea 80 yuan. The glider is 480 yuan.

Tips

There are many kinds of shells in the Shell Museum, but the price is more expensive. There are also many arts and crafts in the ends of the earth. The arts and crafts sold in fixed stalls are about half cheaper than those in Yalong Bay.
