Tianhu tuoluojing building

Tianhu tuoluojing building is located in the site of dongchanyuan, Tianhu village, Jingxing mining area, Shijiazhuang city. With a height of 5 meters and a diameter of about 64 cm, it is a Buddhist Scripture building of the Tang Dynasty. It was built by Huiguang, the abbot of the East Buddhist temple, and Seng Tianbao. The scripture building is engraved with "East Zen courtyard of Tianhu City, Jingxing County, state town of the Tang Dynasty". It is recorded in the dictionary of Hebei Province and Jingxing county annals that it was built in 727, the 15th year of Kaiyuan in Tang Dynasty. But according to the research, this building should be built after the 10th year of Yuanhe (828). It is a national key cultural relic protection unit.

Tianhu tuoluojing building

Located in Tianhu village, Jingxing mining area, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, Tianhu Sutra building is a Buddhist sutra building of Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD).

Sculptural construction

It is made of bluestone, with a remnant height of 5 meters and a diameter of about 64 cm. It was carved in the 15th year of Kaiyuan (727 A.D.). The building is covered with lotus seat, xumizuo and square stone foundation. The building is octagonal in shape, with double shibaogai, Xumi mountain on the top and eight stone pillars on the top. There is a standing statue of Bodhisattva carved in the pointed arch niches on each side of the stone pillars. The southern side of the building is engraved with the inscription "building the Buddha's top for the country, honoring and winning the tuoroni building". The top of the building is incomplete.

It is of great significance to study the development history of the Sutra building and Buddhist art.

Discovery of cultural relics

At about 0:00 on December 26, 2010, the 12th floor "eight faced Buddha" building on the top of "Tianhu Tuoluo Scripture building" in Jingxing mining area was stolen, and the mining area police immediately set up a special team to investigate. At 19:00 on the same day, the villagers found the stolen cultural relics at the intersection of Tianhu village.

Cultural relics protection

Under the pressure of the government, public security, cultural relics protection units, the media and the masses, the suspected criminals sent back the top part of the stolen Talon Sutra building in the dark. Although lost and recovered, it is difficult to change the tragic situation and fact of being destroyed.
