The Sunshine Hall on the west side of the museum building has a unique shape. Through 13 steel bent frames, it can rotate and combine into a fan like space system according to certain rules, just like a camera recording the moment of the sail rotating frame by frame and merging in the same time and space. The museum is divided into two parts: indoor exhibition area and outdoor exhibition area. The indoor exhibition area is about 3500 square meters. According to the function orientation of Olympic Sailing Museum, it is divided into eight parts: preface hall, auxiliary exhibition area, basic exhibition area, special exhibition area, interactive teaching area, exchange exhibition hall, academic activity hall and public service area.
