Qianshan Longquan Temple

Longquan Temple is located in the east of Beigou of Qianshan Mountain, 20 kilometers east of Anshan City, Liaoning Province. It is the largest Buddhist temple in the five Zen forests of Qianshan Mountain. Surrounded by strange peaks and ancient pines, the temple is famous for its long history, proper architecture and harmonious layout with natural scenery. It is said that the name of Longquan comes from four sources: one is a spring in the stone gap in front of the pihu temple, which is like a dragon; the other is the spring in the center of the temple, which flows all the year round, such as "dragon spitting water"; the third is Zhaoshan in front of the temple, with Qinglong on the left and Baihu on the right. The spring comes from the base of the Buddhist temple in the north of the small mountain range, and the mountain and spring are called Longquan; the fourth is Taizong of the Tang Dynasty, who lives in Qianshan It's named Longquan because it has passed this water.

Qianshan Longquan Temple

Longquan Temple is located in a valley surrounded by mountains about three miles away from zuyue temple. It is the largest Buddhist temple in the "five Zen forests" of Qianshan Mountain, and has always been known for its beautiful scenery. The palace is spectacular and famous.

According to legend, Longquan Temple was built in the Tang Dynasty. Most of the existing buildings have been rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty, including Daxiong hall, Tianwang hall, Weituo hall, Pilu hall, Longwang temple, sutra Pavilion and Zen house. Longquan Temple is located in the mountains and valleys with strict layout and exquisite workmanship. It is a well preserved building among many temples in Qianshan.
