Chairman Mao's former residence in Yangjialing

Stepping into the central organ gate at the mouth of Yangjialing gully, the first thing you can see is the organ hall, surrounded by pines and standing close to the mountain. It was designed by Yang zuocai and built by the central organ comrades themselves in 1942. It is divided into three parts: hall, dance hall and rest room. The general office building of the CPC Central Committee is located at the left rear of the central auditorium. On the first floor are conference rooms and combat research rooms; on the second floor are the offices of Li Fuchun, Yang Shangkun, Wang Shoudao and other comrades; on the third floor are the Political Bureau conference rooms. The Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee often holds important meetings here and formulates and passes many important documents. Mao Zedong's speech at the Yan'an Forum on literature and art was delivered here. Chairman Mao's former residence in Yangjialing is located on the hillside to the right of the central office building of the former revolutionary site of Yangjialing. There are three stone kilns in the courtyard, one in the middle is the office, one on the left is the dormitory, and the other is the living room of the staff. During his residence, Mao Zedong published many important articles, such as "opposing capitulation", "on New Democracy", "transforming our study", "rectifying the party's style of work", and led the Anti Japanese war.
