Heritage Museum

With a construction area of 7588 square meters, the museum is the sacrificial area of Jinsha site. The sacrificial area of Jinsha site is one of the oldest, best preserved and most abundant ancient relics discovered in China. The audience can feel the frequent and grand style of sacrificial activities in ancient Shu Kingdom and watch the process of archaeological excavation from a close field. The museum is a semi-circular building, the main body of which reflects the ancient Chinese cosmology of "round sky"; the slope like building form seems to grow out of the earth, implying the gradual deepening process of archaeological excavation and the sanctity of sacrificial sites; the 63 meter long-span steel structure ensures the integrity of the site to the greatest extent. 3000 years ago, the largest sacrificial area in China was distributed along an ancient river, 150 meters long and 100 meters wide, covering an area of 15000 square meters. The sacrificial remains are 4 meters thick and last for more than 600 years.
