Chaoyang building, Jianshui

--Chaoyang tower is the East Gate Tower of Jianshui. It was built in Hongwu Period of Ming Dynasty. It is said that it is 28 years earlier than Tiananmen. It is the landmark of Jianshui ancient city and the symbol of the old important town in the border of the motherland.

--The building is three stories high, with triple eaves. It costs 20 yuan to climb the city. It displays old photos and images from more than 100 years ago. Standing upstairs, you can overlook the ancient city.

Chaoyang building Chaoyang building is the East Gate Tower of Jianshui, which is located in the center of the county. It was built in 1389 and has been more than 600 years. Development history

During the period of Tang, yuan and he, the Nanzhao regime built Huili city here, which was a Tucheng. In the 20th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, after the Ming army pacified Yunnan, it set up Lin'an Wei, built Lin'an Wei Cheng, and rebuilt it into a brick city on the basis of the original earth city. There are four gates in the city: Yinghui gate in the East, Fu'an gate in the south, Qingyuan gate in the West and Yongzhen gate in the north. At the end of Ming Dynasty, the third floor in the north of Southwest was destroyed by war, and only the East Tower was left.

Architectural features

Chaoyang building is a solid wooden frame made of 48 huge wooden columns and numerous thick couplets and tenons, covered with a triple eaves Xieshan roof. "Jianshui annals" has a view of "Donglou Linghan", which says: "dongchenglou, a hundred feet high, with a big sky, overlooking the city, with thousands of fireworks, boundless scenery, rising sun in the East, reflecting the light far away, overlooking the tower, such as yellow crane, Yueyang, nanzhong grand view." Between spring and summer, there are thousands of rain under the eaves of the bird's nest. On the front of Chaoyang building, there is a huge plaque of "Southeast Xiongzhen" written by Tu Ku, a calligrapher of the Qing Dynasty. It is one of the four famous books in Yunnan Province in the Qing Dynasty. It is also the only one who survived. Each character is nearly two meters in size, and its structure is unique in the world. The wooden screen door on the tower is exquisitely carved, vivid and exquisite. On the east side of qilihuagui tower is a large bronze bell with a height of more than two meters, which is three or four thousand jin in the Tang Dynasty. Chaoyang tower has been in good condition for more than 600 years, and has experienced many disasters caused by wars and earthquakes. There is a couplet praising "the word" Dong "stands on the first floor of the Dian government. It is located 800 Li in the south of Xinjiang and has a strong momentum
