Haishu Park

On April 21, 1983, the Ningbo friendship delegation visited nagaokyo, Japan, and thus Japan established a friendship city with nagaokyo. From October 6 to 9 this year, a 10 member friendship delegation from changgangjing paid a friendly visit to Ningbo. There are more than 20 cherry trees in Haishu Park, which is the largest one in the urban park. Ningbo has become a friendly city with nagoka city of Japan, and Japan has given this cherry tree as a gift. Haishu park is located on the Bank of the Beidou River in the west of the city. It is built in a strip shape along the river. It is parallel to Wangjing Road across the river. It is divided into South Park and North Park, covering a total area of 2.32 hectares. Nanyuan, covering an area of 5887 square meters, was opened to the public in October 1983. Beiyuan, covering an area of 17316 square meters, was opened in January 1988.
