Jade and vinegar Culture Museum

As an earlier Folk Museum, the jade and vinegar Museum, a time-honored Chinese brand, opened in 2010 and is located in Pozi street near the mouth of Xiangjiang River. There are many vinegar making tools with a history of 100 years in the museum. People can appreciate the history of vinegar culture from vinegar barrels and rice baskets with a history of 100 years to windmills used for processing raw materials of jade and vinegar in the period of the Republic of China; from iron pots used for frying beige to stone mortar used for pestle rice. In the museum, you can also taste a wide range of jade and vinegar for free.

Many old Changsha people still come here to fight vinegar. However, with the start of Changsha shantytown reconstruction project, this museum, which has been rooted in Pozi street for more than 360 years, is facing the crisis of demolition. If you want to see it, you have to hurry up.
