Historical origin

Ruisui ranch used to be a field of papaya. Every time after a typhoon, all the hard-working papaya would come to nothing. The landlord of that year thought of the scene of American Western Cowboys riding cattle in the movie, so he joked with his friends that "come to raise cattle. I've never seen pasture blown down by a typhoon, so there's no risk in feeding dairy cows." unexpectedly, this joke started Mizuho's animal husbandry. In 1987, Ruisui ranch, which is composed of 10 dairy farmers, selected the place with plain terrain, perfect public facilities such as roads, drainage and electricity to plant grass, build cattle houses, and import high logging Dutch dairy cattle from the United States to feed. Ruisui ranch has become a well-known dairy farming area in the whole province through the business of dairy farmers.
