Zhu Xi, a neo Confucianist in the Southern Song Dynasty, once came here to give lectures, which was a gathering of people and literature. According to historical records, only in terms of ancient buildings, there are 13 ancient temples, 18 nunneries, 12 courtyards, 3 pavilions, 8 halls, 2 caves, 2 floors, 1 temple and 1 altar. There are four sites of Confucianism, Buddhism and Xiaojiao, and there are many inscriptions on cliffs. The well-known Shunxi ancient residence and the unique folk custom of she township are more local characteristics. The so-called "good cave" of "good peak in the north and good cave in the South" is only in terms of East and West Cave Scenic spots. In fact, from the overall analysis of the panoramic area, Nanyan streams, beaches and pools are the fundamental reasons for the beautiful scenery. Therefore, in terms of natural landscape, Xitan, Youdong, Qifeng, Shiqian, yinpu and Jingyan can be called "six victories of nanyandang". In terms of cultural landscape, Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism gather in a scenic spot of dongxidong, but you can see "three religions gathering together".
