Shenzhou Dinosaur National Geopark

Shenzhou Dinosaur National Geopark is located 9 kilometers west of Jiayin County, on the right bank of Heilongjiang Province. It is named "Longgu mountain" for its abundant dinosaur fossils. It is the first place where dinosaur fossils were discovered and unearthed in China. The Geopark is rich in dinosaurs, gastropods, fish, insects, turtles, plants and other fossils of the late Cretaceous. The fossil stratigraphic section is complete, the sequence is clear, and the horizon is stable. It provides new evidence for the study of paleogeography and Paleoclimate of the late Cretaceous. It can be called a natural Late Cretaceous geological exhibition hall. Surrounded by three rivers, the Geopark stands beside the river, with ravines, peaks, forests and natural landscapes. The main scenic spots are China Dinosaur Museum and dinosaur fossil excavation section.

Traffic information: Yichun highway passenger terminal has direct bus to Jiayin County, departure time: 7:10, 8:40, 13:30, 15:45, 17:20, ticket price: 56 yuan. Wuying bus station and Tangwanghe bus station also run to and from Jiayin.

Ticket information: 65 yuan for children under 1.2 meters, children under 6 years old (inclusive) and old people over 70 years old (inclusive)

Tickets are free for the disabled. B. Half price for minors aged 6-18, college, middle school and primary school students, soldiers in active service and elderly aged 60-70.
