Practice Dragon
There is a powerful poisonous Dragon King, very powerful,
Humans and other animals are afraid of it.
It just spews out poison gas,
The man and the animal will be killed immediately.
At ordinary times, the Dragon King was in the water, eating fast and praying to Buddha every month,
Living like a family. It likes to live a simple life,
Not too much desire.
His favorite is to meditate in the wilderness,
Listen to the sound of nature and wind,
You can even hear your heart beating in silence.
It feels so happy,
Often indulge in the joy of meditation.
It's always sitting with its eyes closed,
The sun goes through the leaves and falls on it,
Shining light and beautiful colors.
One day a hunter passed by,
Seeing the dragon king sitting in the woods,
Attracted by its light.
The hunter thought to himself that this colorful skin would shine,
If it's for the king,
There must be a lot of rewards.
So the hunter pressed the tap with his stick,
Peel off the Dragon skin with a knife. The Dragon King was awakened by the pain,
It thinks I'm powerful, this little hunter,
As soon as I blow out the gas, he will die immediately.
However, I have learned Buddhism and vowed to dedicate myself,
Cherish the lives of others; I will bear the pain,
Strictly abide by the commandment of not killing.
So it closed its eyes,
Let the hunter skin it without fighting back.
The hunter took the Dragon skin and left happily.
The Dragon without skin is full of blood red flesh.
It's bleeding in the sun,
The wriggling body shocked the surrounding sand and stone and stung its flesh and bones,
Make it miserable.
Long Qiang endured the pain and wanted to swim back to the sea. But,
The smell of flesh and blood from its body attracts many insects,
Cling to it and eat it.
Long Qiang endured the pain. He thought that I had promised Buddha not to kill,
"You eat, I give you all my body,
I hope you don't go hungry any more. "
The Dragon King without skin and flesh closed his eyes,
With a kind smile on his face,
Dying peacefully in the sunshine.
Its kind heart turns its poisonous gas into fragrant lotus flowers,
Its body also gives out the same brilliance as a diamond.
The poisonous dragon after death has a Bodhisattva's compassionate smile on its face,
Slowly, its soul flies to the sky.
This poisonous dragon, which only uses life to practice, sticks to its promise to the Buddha,
Not to kill, but to be compassionate,
Its goodness turns the poison gas into a lotus.
Sometimes there is an invisible poisonous dragon in our heart,
If we are like the dragon of practice,
Make a promise to cherish life and protect others, and learn to cultivate one's character,
Our hearts will send out the fragrance of lotus,
Shining like a diamond!
