Xi'an Medical College

Xi'an Medical College is a full-time general college approved by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China and supervised by Shaanxi Provincial Department of education.

Xi'an Medical College is located in the beautiful Qindu town of Xi'an city. Convenient transportation and elegant school environment. The school covers an area of 512 mu, with a construction area of 135000 square meters. The university has 65 medical laboratories with advanced experimental equipment and complete articles. The library has a total collection of 113000 books, and an electronic reading room with more than 200000 e-books. The school has a standard swimming pool, roller skating rink, basketball court, volleyball court and other sports facilities.

There are five departments, including nursing department, pharmacy department, medical laboratory department, medical imaging department and stomatology department, and one basic medical department. At present, there are five specialties in higher nursing, pharmacy, medical laboratory, stomatology and medical imaging technology.

Relying on the rich medical higher education resources in Xi'an, Xi'an Medical College has attracted a large number of excellent talents with its own superior conditions. At present, there are 352 teaching staff and 232 full-time and part-time teachers, including 102 full-time teachers. Among the 102 full-time teachers, 35 have the title of deputy senior or above, accounting for 34% of the total number of full-time teachers. The school has four affiliated hospitals.

① Shaanxi friendship hospital is a third class B comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching and scientific research. It has 525 beds. Among them, there are 25 clinical medical technology departments, including internal medicine, external medicine, gynecology, pediatrics and communication, 3 key disciplines, 5 research rooms, 1 ECG workstation and 4 intensive care units. There were 45 medical and health personnel with deputy high professional title or above and 195 intermediate medical and health personnel.

② Shaanxi forest industry hospital is the Second Affiliated Hospital of our university, with more than 300 beds.

③ Xi'an Huxian Jiren hospital has 100 beds.

④ Xi'an Tongji Hospital has 110 beds.

In addition, the university has signed contracts with dozens of large and medium-sized hospitals in Xi'an, and 10 military hospitals including Lanzhou Military Region General Hospital and Chengdu Air Force general hospital to establish off campus practice and training bases, which can provide reliable guarantee for students' practical teaching and graduation practice.
