Beijing International Studies University was founded in 1964 under the tender care of Premier Zhou Enlai. It is a famous university with the characteristics of foreign language and literature as its main subject, tourism management as its characteristic subject, and literature, management, economics, and law as a multidisciplinary subject. It is an important base for China's foreign language, translation, tourism, trade and education and research. Adhering to the school running philosophy of being moral, diligent, realistic and competitive, the University puts forward the development goal of "building an international, characteristic and high satisfaction teaching and research university". The University attaches great importance to international education. It has established all-round, multi-level and substantive exchanges and cooperation with more than 120 universities and educational institutions in more than 20 countries and regions, such as the United States, Japan, Germany, France, Australia, Russia, South Korea and Egypt. Every year, it selects a certain number of teachers to go abroad for further study, visit and cooperate in scientific research, and engage in teaching Chinese as a foreign language There are more than 300 students studying abroad and more than 1000 foreign students coming to the University. Project introduction

In order to introduce foreign high-quality education resources, cultivate skilled talents urgently needed in China, and promote educational cooperation and exchanges between China and Britain, with the support of the Scottish government, the British Council (BC), the vocational skills appraisal center of the Ministry of human resources and social security, the China Association of enterprises and other institutions, the China study abroad Service Center (CSCSE) and the Scottish Diploma Management Center (Scottish Diploma Management Center) are jointly established The Committee (SQA) jointly introduced the British Higher Education Diploma (HND) program into China. The project provides opportunities for high school graduates and those with the same educational background (including secondary vocational school graduates) to receive high-quality education resources from abroad in China, and saves students and parents the expensive cost of studying abroad.

Cscse-sqahnd project is recognized by many countries in the world for its high-quality curriculum system, advanced teaching philosophy and the combination of academic and professional characteristics. At present, there are more than 20 domestic universities offering 15 professional courses in five categories, including business, computer, tourism and hotel management, logistics and engineering. The project belongs to the category of non academic education in China, with three years of full-time study. The first year is the international preparatory course to strengthen English; the second and third years are the professional courses of cscse-sqahnd project, so that students have a considerable level of English and professional qualifications of their major. After obtaining the certificate in China, Chinese students can meet the requirements of foreign universities and study in many universities in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Ireland, France, Singapore and Malaysia.
