Anhui Agricultural University

Anhui Agricultural University, located in Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province, is a provincial key university with a long history, complete disciplines and wide social influence. In 2011, it became a University jointly built by the people's Government of Anhui Province and the Ministry of agriculture. In 2012, it became one of the first ten universities to build "New Rural Development Research Institute". In 2013, it was selected as one of the first batch of "characteristic high-level" universities in Anhui Province. In 2014, it became a University jointly built by the people's Government of Anhui Province and the State Forestry Administration.

College setting: there are 15 colleges in the University, including College of agriculture, College of plant protection, College of horticulture, College of forestry and landscape architecture, College of animal science and technology, College of tea and food science and technology, College of science, College of life science, College of resources and environment, College of engineering, College of textile engineering and art, College of information and computer, College of economics and management, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of foreign languages Academy of Sciences.

Student size: there are 21177 full-time ordinary students, including 2597 master's and doctoral students.

Discipline: there are 77 undergraduate specialties, including 5 national characteristic specialties and 2 national comprehensive reform pilot specialties. At present, there are two national teaching teams, two national excellent courses, one national open video course, one national excellent resource sharing course, one national off campus practice teaching base, one national experimental teaching demonstration center, three national agricultural science and education cooperation talent training bases, and two types of national excellent agricultural and forestry talent education and training plan reform pilot. Scientific research: there are 1 State Key Laboratory, 33 provincial and ministerial level scientific research platforms, 2 provincial "2011 collaborative innovation centers", 1 "Yangtze River scholars and innovation team development plan" innovation team of the Ministry of education, 9 provincial innovation teams, and 6 post scientists of national modern agricultural industrial technology system.
