Harbin Medical Sciences University

Harbin Medical University was founded in 1926 by Dr. Wu Liande, the former medical pioneer of Harbin Medical University, It was renamed Harbin Medical University in 1938 and the first and second branches of China Medical University in Xingshan (now Hegang City) (formerly the health school of the Red Army of Chinese workers and peasants established by the Communist Party of China in Ruijin, Jiangxi Province in 1931).

The school has a school of basic medicine, School of public health, School of health management, School of pharmacy, Graduate School, School of adult education and continuing education, School of bioinformatics and technology, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Marxism Leninism, School of Stomatology, School of nursing, Department of Anesthesiology, Department of physical education, first to fifth Clinical Medical College (Affiliated Hospital), Daqing University Campus and other affiliated units. The center for endemic disease control and prevention of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and prevention, the national basic science research and teaching talent training base, the national new drug clinical trial research center, the Russian training center of the health and Family Planning Commission, the Heilongjiang Academy of Medical Sciences, and the Sino Russian Medical Research Center of Harbin Medical University are located in the University.
