Beijing Police College

Beijing police college is a full-time undergraduate college affiliated to Beijing Public Security Bureau. The college was founded in January 1984. Its predecessor is the public security school of the Public Security Bureau of the people's Government of Beiping City, which was founded in April 1949. So far, it has a history of more than 60 years. In 2004, the college began to hold undergraduate education. The major setting of the college is close to the reality of the capital public security, and has distinct public security characteristics. At present, the college has three undergraduate majors: Investigation (including the direction of "public security intelligence"), criminal science and Technology (including the direction of "network security and law enforcement") and public security, and two specialized Majors: public security management and road traffic management. The undergraduate course lasts for 4 years and the junior college course lasts for 3 years. The college is located in Huyu scenic area, Nankou Town, Changping District, covering an area of 1200 mu with a construction area of 180000 square meters. The road traffic management major of the college is taught in Dongwei Road Campus, Chaoyang District, covering an area of 64 mu with a construction area of 12000 square meters.

The college has complete teaching equipment and modern teaching means, which can realize scene teaching, simulation teaching and distance teaching. DNA testing, intelligence analysis, trace comparison, criminal photography and other laboratories are in the leading position in domestic public security colleges; physical fitness, skills, police technology and tactics training venues are unique; library collection is complete, convenient and quick to access, which can directly serve for teaching, scientific research and police practice. The college has beautiful environment, fresh air and complete facilities, which provides good learning, working and living conditions for teachers and students. The college has carried out friendly exchanges and academic exchanges with police agencies from all over the world. With the improvement of school running level and the development of scientific research activities, especially with the capital Beijing gradually becoming a "world city", the scale of external and academic exchanges of the college will continue to expand.
