Kaifeng Institute of Education

Kaifeng Institute of education is a public adult college with general college enrollment qualification. Founded in 1979, the college is a college of both arts and science, with a good reputation both inside and outside the province. It has been awarded the honorary titles of "national school sports work advanced unit", "provincial scientific research leading school", "teacher training advanced unit", "language and character work advanced unit", "teacher qualification recognition advanced unit" and so on.

The college covers an area of 414.42 mu, with a construction area of more than 116000 square meters and fixed assets of 172 million yuan. It is equipped with satellite ground receiving station, closed circuit television system, Gigabit Campus Network, multimedia teaching evaluation system and other modern teaching and experimental equipment. The total value of teaching and experimental equipment is 23.83 million yuan. The library has a collection of 439000 books and more than 950 Chinese and foreign periodicals. Journal of Kaifeng Institute of education is a CN publication published at home and abroad, and one of the top ten journals of educational institutions in China.

The college has 474 staff members, including 361 teachers, 127 professors and associate professors, 131 lecturers and experimenters, 104 double qualified teachers, more than 50 teachers with master's degree and double degree, and more than 70 young teachers studying for master's degree. There are 18 "model workers" who have been commended at or above the provincial level, 6 who have been awarded by Zeng Xianzi education fund, and more than 200 people who have been awarded by various education and teaching competitions at or above the provincial level. There are Chinese Department, mathematics department, foreign language department, physical education department, music department, fine arts department, computer department, social science department, natural science department and education science department.
