Jiangxi Art Vocational College

Jiangxi art vocational college is the only state-run comprehensive art college in Jiangxi Province, which is approved by the people's Government of Jiangxi Province and established on the basis of Jiangxi art school. It is a garden style school with elegant environment and reasonable layout.

In recent years, the college has embarked on the road of rapid development by promoting education and teaching reform, broadening school running channels, expanding school running scale and improving teaching quality. At present, the college has five departments of dance, music, drama performance, fine arts and comprehensive arts, and a technical secondary school. It has 17 majors, including dance performance, music (vocal music, instrumental music) performance, art design, film and television performance, opera performance, acrobatic performance, etc., forming a new pattern of multi-channel and multi-level education.

Founded in 1951, the college has been more than half a century. It has a considerable scale and has accumulated rich experience in education, teaching and management. Over the years, more than 5000 artistic talents have been provided to the society. Famous painters Liang bangchu, Ding Shibi, art theorist Chen Zui, famous actors Li Junhua and Dong Mingyan all taught at school; young dancers Liu Zhen and Li Chunyan, young director Liu Xiaodong, winner of plum blossom award Chen Li, young drama actor and Director Fu Yongfan, Oboe performer Zhou Weilin of Boston, and Broadway Opera soprano singer Huang Wei of America Yi Siheng, a soprano singer from Germany, Zhu Hanfang, Tan Fangbing, actors of film, TV and song Sanqi, and other outstanding students came out of the college and became famous all over the world. At present, the college has more than 2000 students and 230 full-time teachers, including more than 70 professional and technical personnel above the deputy high school level and more than 120 intermediate professional and technical personnel. In addition, famous artists from inside and outside the province are specially invited to teach in the school. Since the 1980s, the college has won more than 100 awards in major national and provincial art competitions, and has visited and performed in the United States, Japan, France, Hong Kong and other places for many times. Graduates are welcomed by employers, and the employment rate is 95%, which has become one of the popular art colleges for students to apply for.
