Panjin vocational and technical college is a public comprehensive full-time college to cultivate advanced technology application-oriented talents for the production, management and service front line. It is the first local college named "Vocational and Technical College" in Liaoning Province and the only university in Panjin. The college is located in Panjin City, which is known as "the land of fish and rice" and "the city of oil".

The college covers an area of 266 mu, with a construction area of 110000 square meters. It has a perfect campus network system, a full-featured basic and professional laboratory, 27 practice bases, and modern teaching equipment up to the national standards. At present, the college has 410 teaching staff, including 245 full-time teachers, 80 professors and associate professors. The "double qualification" teachers account for 40% of the total number of teachers. The college has a number of provincial and municipal professional discipline leaders.

The college has an elegant environment and complete facilities. It enrolls more than 3000 full-time ordinary students and more than 2800 adult education colleges. There are six departments and two departments with 26 Higher Vocational Majors and 12 secondary vocational majors.
