Yiyang Medical College

The predecessor of Yiyang medical college is Yiyang Health School, which was founded in 1950. In March 2007, it was upgraded to general medical college with the approval of the Ministry of education and the provincial people's government. There are 520 teaching staff and 8000 students.

The school is located in the beautiful Zishan lake of Yiyang City, looking at Changsha in the East and Dongting in the north. The new campus covers an area of 501.6 mu, with a construction area of 200000 square meters.
