Tangshan Vocational and Technical College

Tangshan Vocational and technical college is located in the beautiful coast of the Bohai Sea, one of the central cities of Beijing Tianjin Hebei coordinated development, Tangshan City, Hebei Province. Approved by the people's Government of Hebei Province in 2001, the college was upgraded from the former Tangshan health school, Tangshan agricultural school, Tangshan business school and Tangshan finance and trade cadre school. It has a history of 67 years. The college is a comprehensive higher vocational college with complete professional categories and large scale in Hebei Province. In 2010, it was identified as a Demonstration Higher Vocational College for key construction in Hebei Province, and in 2016, it was identified as the national high-quality vocational college construction project approval unit.

The college has four campuses, covering an area of 702 mu, and will be relocated to Fengnan new campus (former Jitang College of North China University of Technology). Now more than 5000 students have moved into the new campus. At present, the college has more than 12000 students, including 9 departments, 5 teaching departments and the College of continuing education, including clinical medicine department, stomatology department, nursing department, finance and Economics Department, management department, information engineering department, tourism department, mechanical and electrical engineering department, and agriculture and Forestry Engineering Department. In the first round of higher vocational college personnel training level evaluation, it has won the excellent level, and has won the advanced units of enrollment and employment in Hebei Province for many times.

The college has set up 321 solid off campus training bases, with 301 Hospital of PLA, Navy General Hospital, rocket general hospital, Army General Hospital, Tangshan workers' hospital, people's Hospital and other tertiary hospitals, Shanghai Baoye group (Caofeidian) Co., Ltd., CRRC Tangshan Locomotive and Vehicle Co., Ltd., Qingdao Haier Co., Ltd., UFIDA Xindao Co., Ltd., Wuhan meistanford Co., Ltd Ltd., Tianjin jialihe animal husbandry Co., Ltd. and other key hospitals and enterprises have cooperated closely to form a talent training mode with vocational education characteristics, such as highly integrated with industry and enterprises, order training, work study alternation and post practice. The employment rate of graduates has been maintained at about 98%.
