Liaoning Vocational College of architecture is located in the ancient city of Liaoyang, which is subordinate to the Education Department of Liaoning Province. It is a combination of the former Liaoning Vocational College of information technology and Liaoning Vocational College of architecture. The school has a history of more than 60 years of vocational education, and is now one of the first batch of construction units of vocational education development and reform demonstration schools in Liaoning Province.

The school has 12 teaching departments including civil engineering department, urban construction and transportation department, equipment engineering department, information engineering department, automatic control department, mechanical engineering department, architectural art department, architectural economy department, engineering management department, business management department, financial management department and tourism management department. The school now has 17 national and provincial key (demonstration, characteristic or brand) majors, accounting for 33.3% of the total number of majors, 20 provincial excellent courses and 8 provincial excellent teaching teams. The school has 514 full-time teachers, including 27 professors and 120 associate professors. 46.2% of the young teachers have the title of deputy senior or above, and 45% of the young teachers have the degree of graduate or above. The school also continues to strengthen the training of full-time teachers. The foreign training of full-time teachers has completed 170 person times. In 2013, our school was rated as an independent enrollment and examination unit by Liaoning Provincial Department of education, and now there are 12500 students.
