Zhangjiakou University

Zhangjiakou university is approved by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China to set up a teaching application-oriented undergraduate college with pedagogy, medicine and management as the main disciplines, literature, science and other disciplines supporting each other and coordinated development.

The campus covers an area of 613.4 mu, with a planned area of 1168 Mu and a total area of 220000 square meters. The campus is built close to the mountain, with green shade and water pavilions. It is well arranged and complements the beautiful scenery of Xiongguan. It has one affiliated primary school, one affiliated kindergarten and one Affiliated People's Hospital; 68 fixed practice schools (kindergartens) and 20 practice hospitals; 15 financial practice bases and 47 other practice training bases; 767000 paper books, 734 kinds of Chinese and foreign newspapers and periodicals, 7914gb e-books and 3 Chinese and foreign databases.

The school has 14 teaching units and nearly 10000 full-time undergraduate and junior college students. There are 18 undergraduate majors and 46 specialized majors, mainly involving education majors oriented to early childhood education and primary school teachers, medical majors oriented to front-line medical and health care personnel, and management and related majors oriented to accounting personnel of small and medium-sized enterprises.

At present, there are 486 full-time teachers, 240 teachers with master's and doctor's degrees, 213 teachers with senior professional titles, including 70 professors. More than 10 professors hold important positions in national and provincial academic research institutions. The University adheres to the principle of scientific research serving teaching and regional economic and social development. In recent years, teachers have presided over more than 600 scientific research projects, published nearly 2000 papers in various academic journals, and published more than 80 academic works and textbooks. We actively participate in international inter school exchanges and cooperation, and have established good cooperative relations with Wright State University in the United States and Regent International Education Group in New Zealand.
