Sichuan College of culture and art (formerly Mianyang College of art, Sichuan Conservatory of Music) was established in 2001. In 2012, it jointly established a master's degree training center with Sichuan Conservatory of music. In 2014, it was transferred to Sichuan College of culture and art with the approval of the Ministry of education.
