Herbs perennial, 10-20 cm high, all hairy. Stems tufted, base prostrate, quadrangular. Leaves simple, opposite; broadly ovate to suborbicular, ca. 2 cm long and 1.5 cm wide, apex obtuse, base truncate or subcordate, margin obtuse toothed, dark green above and purple below; petiole 1-2 cm long. Raceme terminal, leaning to one side, 2 flowers juxtaposed; calyx 2-lipped, hairy; corolla lavender, 2-lipped, base tubular, upper lip galeate, lower lip flat; stamens 4,2-strong, anthers hairy. Nutlets, enclosed in calyx. It blooms in spring.

Born in the mountains. It is distributed in Sichuan.
