[chemical constituents] it contains flavonoid glycosides, tannins, phenols, resins, coumarins, reducing sugars, polysaccharides, volatile oil, organic acids (betulinic acid, oleanolic acid, ursolic acid) and chlorophyll. There are astragaloside and myricetin in flavonoid glycosides. It is also rich in vitamin C and carotene (about 76 μ g / g).

[pharmacological action] the flavonoid glycosides extracted from leaves can reduce blood pressure and increase coronary flow (33-36%) in dogs by intravenous injection (5 mg / kg), and can also increase coronary flow in isolated rabbit hearts. The injection made from leaves has certain antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus aureus and Catacoccus in vitro. The rabbits were injected intraperitoneally to reduce the temperature. It is not toxic to animals, does not cause hemolysis, and does not affect peripheral hemogram.
