Perennial herbs. Stems tufted, fleshy, 11-13 cm high, green, purplish, smooth, glabrous. Leaves alternate; basal leaves obovate; upper stem leaves linear lanceolate, ca. 2 cm long, fleshy, entire. Cyme terminal, with many florets; petals 5, separate, lanceolate, yellow, with purple spots; stamens 10, about as long as petals; pistils 5, abdominal expansion.
