The female spikes are 8-11 cm long and 16 cm long when bearing fruit; the total pedicels are 1.5-2 cm long; the ovary is slightly compressed and attached to the inflorescence axis; the stigma is terminal and 4-lobed. Berries dense, globose, ca. 3 mm in diam. The flowering period is from February to May.

Born in the dark valley of high mountains and dense forests. Distributed in Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan and other places.
