Flowers small, white, solitary leaf axils, corolla campanulate, apex 6-lobed, arranged in 2 whorls. Berries small globose. The seeds are small. It blooms in summer.

[collection] dig roots in winter, wash, remove fibrous roots, boil for about half an hour, then peel and dry.
