Herbs perennial, ca. 30 cm tall. The main root is short and thick, like a bee, with many fibrous roots. Stem slender, soft, sometimes creeping; pilose. The leaflets of the basal leaves are elliptic, oblong or obliquely ovate, 1.5-5 cm long and 1-2 cm wide, cuneate at the base, with obtuse serrations at the edge, entire near the base, and densely pilose along the veins below; petioles are slender and pilose; petioles of stem leaves are small, petioles short or absent; stipules are ovate and hairy. Inflorescence racemose, terminal; pedicel and pedicel pilose; pedicel bracteoles; flowers small, few, 10-15 mm in diameter, yellow; epicalyx 5, linear lanceolate, calyx 5, ovate lanceolate, hairy outside; petals 5, obovate, apex concave; stamens many, pistils many, style lateral; receptacle slightly hairy. Achenes small, yellow, ovate, glabrous, rugose. The flowering period is from April to May.
