[collection] from September to October, the roots were dug, washed and dried.

[chemical constituents] the content of alkaloid is 0.12%.

Bitter and warm.

① "Cao Mu Bian Fang": "warm nature. "

② Jiangxi herbal medicine: "it is warm in nature and slightly bitter in taste. "

Functions and indications: dispelling wind, removing dampness, promoting blood circulation and detoxifying. Treatment of rheumatism, low back pain, red white dysentery, jaundice hepatitis, carbuncle, rash, fall injury.

[usage and dosage] oral administration: decoction, 0.5-1 Liang; or soaking in wine. External use: tamping or frying and washing.

[selection] 1. Treatment of rheumatic low back pain: sophora root five money, June snow root, wild buckwheat root each one or two. Take half of the wine and half of the water, one dose a day.

② Cure dysentery: small sophora root, wild flower root, over the altar dragon each five money. Decoct in water and take with sugar.

③ Treatment of jaundice hepatitis: sophora root, Nitraria root, Akebia root each two, light bamboo leaf one or two, pig foot one. Fry in water, take soup and meat, one dose a day. (1) Jiangxi herbal medicine

④ Treatment of scrofula: half a catty of sticky grass root. Slicing, two Jin of Shaojiu, sealed and soaked for more than seven days, drinking one or two times a time, twice a day. (Jiangxi folk herbal medicine)
