[source] it is the mycelium of Armillaria mellea.

Pseudoarmillaria mellea

The fruiting bodies are clumped and do not fluoresce. At the beginning, the pileus was oblate and semispherical, then gradually flattened, 3-6 cm wide, honey yellow, with flat hairy scales. The folds are elongated, light honey yellow, unequal, slightly sparse. The stipe is almond yellow, the base is dark, the upper part is slightly fine, fibrous, the inner part is soft, with flat hairy scales, gradually smooth. It is wide oval, smooth, colorless, 7.2-8.4x5-6.5 μ M. When the mycelium was cultured in the dark place, it emitted light fluorescence. After aging, it turns to yellowish brown to tan and does not emit light. It has well-developed rhizoid hyphae.

The fruit bodies are edible. It is distributed in Hebei, Sichuan, Anhui, Jiangsu and Zhejiang.

[clinical application] 1

778 cases of acute and chronic cholecystitis were treated. The course of treatment was 15 days for acute cases and 1-2 months for chronic cases. The effective rate was 93.7%, and the cure rate was 10.66%. Through the reexamination of cholecystography in 26 cases, 15 cases of them recovered to normal in concentration and emptying function; 2 cases improved in concentration function; 6 cases were still abnormal in function; 3 cases developed after treatment for those who did not develop cholecystography. ② Treatment of hepatitis

459 cases of acute icteric hepatitis, acute hepatitis without yellow pox, chronic hepatitis, persistent hepatitis, severe hepatitis and recurrent hepatitis were treated. Course of treatment: 10 days for a course of treatment, the shortest 20 days for acute cases, the longest 2 months. The curative effect of acute icteric hepatitis was the best, the cure rate was 97.1%, the effective rate was 98.8%; the curative effect of acute non icteric hepatitis and recurrent hepatitis was better; the curative effect of chronic and persistent hepatitis was also certain, half of them were cured. ③ Treatment of appendicitis

93 cases of appendicitis were treated, the effective rate was 83.8%, the cure rate was 74.1%. Dosage: Adults take 100-200 ml of decoction every 4 or 6 hours on the first or second day, and then take 100 ml every 6 hours. The failure cases were treated by operation

④ Treatment of otitis media

In 59 cases of acute otitis media, 26 cases were cured, 19 cases were effective and 14 cases were ineffective; in 5 cases of chronic otitis media, 3 cases were cured and 2 cases were effective.
