Evergreen trees or shrubs, up to 7 meters high. Branchlets glabrous. Leaves alternate, leathery, lanceolate. 5-13 cm long, 1.5-3 cm wide, apex acuminate, base cuneate, margin serrate, glossy above; petiole short. Flowers 4, unisexual, dioecious. Berry shaped drupe, spherical, clustered, red.

He was born near the village. It is distributed in Guizhou and other places.
