Panicle slender, 5-14 cm long; flowers small, petals 5, light yellow green; stamens 5, opposite petals, disk below ovary; ovary 2-locular, style short, conical. Berry black, diameter about 8 mm; seeds 2-3. The flowering period is from May to June. The fruit period is from September to October.

It grows in mountain shrub or forest edge. It is distributed in Hubei, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Yunnan, Guangdong and other places.
