Small deciduous shrub. Branches yellowish brown, hairy when young. Leaf blade ovate or elliptic, 6-14 cm long, 2.5-5.5 cm wide, apex acute to acuminate, base rounded to acuminate, entire, rarely serrate. Corymbose cyme terminal; total pedicel 5-7 cm long; bracts linear, opposite; calyx campanulate, covered with yellowish brown hairs, lobes 5, triangular; corolla tubular, white, hairy outside, lobes 5, oblong; stamen 4, inserted in the throat of floral tube, anther dorsal, filament slender; pistil 1, ovary superior, style slender, stigma bifid.
