The Oroqen people wear wide and fat robes. In the past, they were mainly engaged in hunting, and their costumes were mostly made of deer, roe deer and skin. Embroidery, patching and other decorations are available at the neckline, cuffs, skirt edge and the slit of the robe, and cloud pattern and antler pattern are commonly used. She wears a leather hat with felt on the top and various decorations and colored tassels sewn on it. The girl wears a headband decorated with beads, shells and buttons. When men go hunting, they wear roe deer leather clothes, leather trousers, roe deer scalp cap and Wula. Nowadays, cloth clothes and rubber shoes are widely used in daily life, but leather clothes are still used when hunting.

There are three patterns: geometric pattern, plant pattern and animal pattern

Geometric pattern. Most of them are dot pattern, triangle pattern, ripple pattern, spray pattern, semicircle pattern, single pattern, double pattern, T-shaped pattern, square pattern, vortex pattern, etc. Most of them are combined according to personal needs to produce new pattern rhythm and melody.

Plant pattern. The second is leaf pattern, tree pattern, flower pattern and bud pattern. The flower pattern of nanchaoluo is particularly prominent and widely used. In the Oroqen language, "nanchaoluo flower" means "the most beautiful flower", symbolizing pure love. It is mostly used for girls' dowry to show their pure and happy love. The shape of the flower is a "cross" frame, which is represented by the cloud roll deformation pattern.

Animal pattern. The number of them is the least, mainly including cloud curl butterfly pattern, deer shape pattern, deer head cloud curl pattern and horse pattern. There is also reference to other national patterns, such as the "Shou" word patterns.
