Wang Xinyi
Wang Xinyi (1572-1645), a native of Wuxian county (now Suzhou, Jiangsu Province), was named Chunfu. His name was Yuanxu, xuanzhu, and Banchan Yesou. Born in hansu, he once worked in Danqing as a disciple of Chen Huan.
Life of the characters
Wang Xinyi was ambitious and unwilling to bow down to art. He studied at night. He became a scholar in Wanli Guichou (1613) and served as a minister of the Ministry of punishment. Zeng Kangshu's words were denounced, and both the court and the right were in danger. The older his opinions were, the more his integrity was. The landscape imitates Huang Gongwang's, and the brush and ink are elegant. There is also a cold air in the simple and Danshen, which is pleasant to the mind. He died 74 years ago. According to the chronology of calligraphers and painters of the song, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, the sixth part of the Grand View of Shenzhou is quoted, which contains the landscape map of Wuzi (1648) in the fifth year of Shunzhi. It is suspected that the mistake of Wuzi (1588) in the 16th year of Wanli was caused by the year of his death and his childhood.
Main works
In 1631, Wang Xinyi bought a garden and named it "guitianyuanju". This garden was originally built in the fourth year of Zhengde, and it was abandoned in the East. Wang Xinyi, the author of Guitian YuanJu Ji, describes the reason why the Humble Administrator's garden was named and the scenery was fixed. For example, there is a passage in the book describing the strange stones in the Humble Administrator's garden. "In the south of the pool, there is a special peak, which is called zhuiyun peak. The two peaks on the left side of the pool stand side by side, like palms and sails, which is called Lianbi peak. " In addition, there is a description of Lan Xue Tang in the Humble Administrator's Garden: "the East and West osmanthus trees are screens, and then there are mountains like a picture, with plum blossoms growing vertically and horizontally. There is bamboo outside the plum tree. Bamboo is near the monk's house. The sound of Buddhist music comes from bamboo at dusk
