Mr. Yin and Yang pointed to a place and said, "this place is very good, but it will take 500 years to make a fortune." At that time, Che Wanyu was very young. He was on his father's side and said, "why don't you bury your ancestors here 500 years ago and make a fortune?" Seeing his intelligence, Mr. Yin and Yang said, "this son will make a fortune in the future." After that, Che Wanyu studied hard and took part in the scientific examination. He was a scholar. In the third year of Kangxi, he became a Jinshi, and then he was awarded the Hubu to Shizhong, and later he was promoted to handprint. When Che Wanyu was given to the household department, he often said frankly that facing the emperor, he chose the most urgent things, while others were speechless. His colleagues were worried about him. He said, "it's my duty to give advice. I'll try my best to be loyal. Who cares about personal safety?" Someone sent gold and silver to him at night, and he said, "don't you know there is a cheyusan who doesn't love money?"
Together with my elder brother Wan Bei and wan you, I read a book. In the second year of Kangxi reign (1664), Wanbei and Wanyu joined zhongguimao in the imperial examination. In the next year (1665), Wanyu joined jiejiachenke to become the top three Jinshi. He selected the best scholars and changed the family branch to Shizhong. When the rebellion broke out in San Francisco, his father's hometown was occupied by the rebels. When he asked for leave to return home, his father died first, so he moved to Jiangning. After the mourning, we'll call in the backup section. Wan Yu was a clean and honest official. He had many admonitions and later returned. His son, Che Ding, was once known as an imperial edict in the Jin Dynasty, and Emperor Kangxi still cherished the name of Wan Yu. Three years later, Emperor Kangxi visited the South and summoned Wan Yu to inquire about the river management strategy. Wanyu died of illness. Emperor Kangxi ordered him to be buried in Jiangning.
