Jin Hongyi, born in August 1931, is now the honorary president of Zhejiang hospital, chief physician of Cardiology, director of Provincial Institute of Geriatrics, director of Provincial Research Center for prevention and treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and part-time professor of Medical College of Zhejiang University and Zhejiang College of traditional Chinese medicine.

Jin Hongyi, born in August 1931, studied in Medical College of Zhejiang University in 1950 and graduated from Zhejiang Medical College in 1956. After graduation, he worked in the internal medicine department of the first and Second Affiliated Hospital for 29 years, and successively served as assistant teacher, lecturer, associate professor, deputy chief physician, etc. he was transferred to Zhejiang hospital in May 1985, and successively served as vice president, President, director of Department of internal medicine, etc He is a part-time professor in Zhejiang University of traditional Chinese medicine. He once served as a member of the cardiovascular branch and geriatric branch of the Chinese Medical Association, executive director of the Provincial Medical Association, chairman of the Provincial Cardiovascular Society, provincial Geriatric Society and provincial Osteoporosis Society. At present, he is a member of the expert group of the cardiovascular disease prevention and research center of the Ministry of health, vice chairman of the Provincial Sports Science Association, chairman of the Provincial Sports Association, consultant of the cardiovascular Professional Committee of the Provincial Cardiovascular Medical Association, the provincial Rehabilitation Medical Association, the provincial geriatric medical Association, and the provincial osteoporosis Association.

He has been engaged in medical treatment, teaching and scientific research of geriatrics in cardiovascular department for more than 50 years. He has rich clinical experience and attainments in cardiovascular medicine and geriatrics, especially in the diagnosis and treatment of difficult cardiovascular diseases, and the diagnosis, treatment and rescue of elderly patients with multiple organ failure. He has successfully rescued influential leaders for many times. He once served as deputy editor in chief of Zhejiang medical journal and editorial board member of national, provincial and ministerial journals such as Chinese Journal of geriatrics. At present, he is the editor in chief of the Journal of cardiovascular disease prevention and treatment, and presides over the research on the prevention and treatment of geriatric diseases and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.
