Wang Tao

Wang Tao, chief economist of UBS Securities in China, was previously head of economic research and strategy for Greater China of Bank of America and chief Asia economist of BP group in the UK.

Character experience

Before joining BP, he was a senior economist of IMF. He was mainly responsible for studying China's macroeconomic and structural reform issues. He participated in the project negotiation and consultation between the fund and member countries, and served as a visiting professor in the school of finance of National People's Congress. Doctor of economics, New York University, Bachelor of economics, Renmin University of China.

Honor record

In 2009, he won the honor of China analyst in the first financial value list, and the honor of chief economist (foreign capital) in the first financial value list in 2011.
