Wolong Valley ecotourism area is located in the east of Checun Town, Song County, Luoyang City, 130 km away from Luoyang. Wolong Valley is located in the hinterland of Funiu Mountain, a scenic resource belt of Funiu Mountain. It is adjacent to Baiyun Mountain in the west, muzaling mountain in the East and Yihe River drifting, Tianchi mountain, Luhu reservoir and other tourist areas in the north. National Highway 311 passes through the scenic area. It has superior location and convenient transportation. Wolong valley was named after the support of the people for Liu Xiu, Emperor Guangwu of Han Dynasty, who spent the night there. It is a deep fault granite landform formed by the late Yanshanian crustal movement at the end of Zhongtiao period.
