The majestic Minshan mountains are made by nature to set off the precipitous, vicissitudes and majestic Minjiang Grand Canyon. The blue sky is blue, the white clouds are floating, and the goshawks are spreading their wings. A huge ancient castle with an area of 100 hectares is scattered among the mountains like a bunch of flowers thrown from the sky. This is Luobo village, the largest and oldest Huangni Qiang village in the world, which is full of primitive and simple customs.

Radish village was first known as Fenghuang village. There are many versions of the name of radish village in the Qiang language wazige. One is that the village was not called radish village in the past. Once an alien invader invaded the village, the leader of the village led the people to fight against the enemy bravely and bravely, making the enemy unable to attack for a long time. Unfortunately, the enemy finally conquered the village and cut off the head of the leader like a radish. In memory of the leader of the village, later generations renamed the village radish village. Another theory is that the altitude, climatic conditions and soil quality of the village are very suitable for Radish Growth, and its taste is both refreshing and sweet, so it is named radish village.

Radish village is on the only way to Jiuzhai. It is less than 10 kilometers from Wenchuan to radish village. Just after the famous Yanmen pass, a Qiang blockhouse and an ancient beacon tower standing beside the 317 national road point out the entrance to radish village. When you circle along the newly built Panshan Road, you will see Suoqiao village first, Xiaozhaizi village next, and then radish village.

Radish village gate is quite special, with the sun shape and white stone on it. Among them, Baishi can be seen on the roof of every house in the radish village. The whole scenic area is composed of luouzhai village, Xiaozhai village, Suoqiao village, jiaochangba and Yanmen pass. From top to bottom, the shape of radish village is like a fish.

At 2:28 p.m. on May 12, an 8.0 magnitude earthquake occurred in Wenchuan. The luofuzhai village was only 5 km away from the epicenter and was severely damaged

Villagers' life

It mainly produces corn, wheat, potato, buckwheat, soybean, Hu Dou, sunflower and other crops. Economic crops are rape, orchid tobacco, walnut, grape, pepper, cherry and so on. There are many kinds of vegetables, especially radish. The houses in the village are all high earth houses with two to three floors. The whole village is like a miniature town with numerous streets and lanes. It is a large group of Huangni Qiang village and the largest cultural tourism area of Qiang Nationality in China. In the village, there are many entertainment items, such as "Shibi" cultural performance, bonfire party, roast whole sheep, drink Za wine, sing folk songs, putter, drill rod, walk single wooden ladder and so on.

Radish village is located in Yanmen Township, Wenchuan County, Aba Prefecture, on the gaobanshan platform on the South Bank of Minjiang River. It is located on the only way to the famous Jiuzhaigou scenic spot. It's less than ten kilometers from Wenchuan county to luozizhai. Just after the famous Yanmen pass, a Qiang blockhouse and an ancient beacon tower stand beside the 317 National Road, indicating the entrance to luozizhai. Circling up the ten kilometer black road of Panshan Road, you can see Suoqiao village first, then Xiaozhaizi village, and finally turnip village.

Luofuzhai is a terrace of ice water accumulation, with gentle and broad terrain. It is the largest flat land in the middle of the mountain of Minjiang Grand Canyon, and also the most ideal place to have a bird's-eye view of Minjiang Grand Canyon. Radish village is the largest and oldest Huang Ni Qiang village in the world. The loess area of more than 100 hectares in luowuzhai is the only ancient Qiang people with the largest population (more than 1000 people in the whole village) and the most intensive housing.

Radish village has a long history and unique terrain. Archaeologists say that human beings lived in radish village as early as 3000-4000 years ago; geologists say that the Loess Area in Zhongqian of Minjiang Grand Canyon feels like an alien object; folklore is more colorful and euphemistic. The four major changes in the place name of the radish Village (the radish village was first called Fenghuang village, then Fushun village, then Tiger Village, and finally the radish village which is still in use today) are the witness of the long history of the radish village. Radish village is located between Fengshan mountain and Huangshan Mountain. The whole architectural form of radish village looks like a flying phoenix. What's the connection between this and the ancient name of radish village? Does it have anything to do with the legend of Phoenix Nirvana and Sunbird? We don't know.
