Wu Wei is an attending physician of Zhengzhou orthopedic hospital. He graduated from the Department of clinical medicine of Medical College of Zhengzhou University (formerly Henan Medical University) in 1999 with a master's degree and chief physician.

After graduation, he has been engaged in clinical diagnosis and treatment of pediatric orthopedic diseases in Zhengzhou orthopedic hospital for a long time and has rich clinical experience. Wu Wei, female, graduated from the Department of clinical medicine of Henan Medical University in 1999 with a master's degree. She is the deputy director and chief physician of the Department of pediatric orthopedics II scoliosis of Zhengzhou orthopedic hospital. In 2019, he won the title of academic and technological leader of Zhengzhou city. He has been engaged in clinical orthopedics for 20 years. He went to the pediatric orthopedics department of Beijing Jishuitan Hospital and the orthopedics department of Peking Union Medical College Hospital for further study. He went to the scoliosis center of Weiner wicker hospital in Baden Wiel, Germany for further study. He has published 15 papers in national professional academic journals and 5 core journals. As the first person to complete scientific research projects, he won the "first prize" of Henan Province Science and technology award of traditional Chinese medicine. Academic posts: member of the third Youth Committee of orthopedics branch of Henan Medical Association; member of the fourth pediatric orthopedics group of orthopedics branch of Henan Medical Association; member of the first special branch of spinal deformity branch of Henan Rehabilitation Medical Association.

Areas of expertise

He is good at the diagnosis and treatment of various types of scoliosis diseases, especially for idiopathic scoliosis, congenital scoliosis, neurofibromatous scoliosis, Marfan syndrome, trauma and bone dysplasia. In addition, he has rich clinical experience in the treatment of other common diseases in pediatric orthopedics, such as developmental dislocation of the hip, clubfoot, congenital and acquired limb deformities, and pediatric limb fractures. In the course of work, more than ten papers have been published in national professional academic journals.
