Nanjing Institute of political science of PLA

Nanjing Institute of political science, formerly known as Nanjing Institute of political science, was founded in December 1977 and renamed Nanjing Institute of Political Science in 1986. In May 1999, the former Air Force Political College was transferred into the college and became the Shanghai Branch of Nanjing Political College. The academy is a Command College of intermediate vocational education directly under the leadership of the general political department. Its establishment level is at the military level. It is a key construction college of the army's "2110 project" and a key construction college of the army's graduate training unit. Over the past 30 years, Nanjing University of political science has grown up with the innovation of the party's theory and practice. Now it has become the highest institution of military political science, and has the reputation of "Peking University in the military". The college enrolls students for the whole army. It mainly undertakes the task of training political commanding cadres, cadres of political organs and political work professionals for the whole army. It also undertakes the functions of political work personnel training, political theory innovation, service for army construction and decision-making consultation service for the CMC headquarters.  

The college is composed of Nanjing headquarters (Nanjing District) and Shanghai Branch (Shanghai District). It is divided into three districts: Nanjing, Shanghai and Jiangpu, covering an area of more than 1500 mu. The headquarters of Nanjing Academy is located in Nanjing, the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties. It is located on both sides of Zhongshan North Road, the main road of the city. It is not far from Nanjing University, Southeast University and Nanjing Normal University. The main buildings of the academy are carved beams and painted buildings, simple and elegant. Shanghai branch is located in the international metropolis of Shanghai, located in Wujiaochang area, adjacent to Fudan University, Second Military Medical University, Tongji University and Shanghai University of Finance and economics And other famous universities. The two districts of the college have excellent human geography environment, strong academic atmosphere and unique regional advantages, as well as excellent teaching, scientific research and living conditions.
