Chengshantou Lighthouse

Chengshantou lighthouse is located in the easternmost Cape of Shandong Peninsula. The lighthouse was built in 1821 and rebuilt in 1864 and 1874. It was destroyed during the war and rebuilt in 1950. Its main function is to provide navigation service for ships passing through Chengshantou waters. There are AIS base stations at the same site, and Chengshantou ship traffic management center (VTS) and radar station near the lighthouse.
